Yesterday we had a fun day baking and learning how to decorate cookies. At first When I mentioned to Cass that Azella wanted to make some sugar cookies we weren’t thinking of making them for her class, we just wanted to learn but then realized Valentines Day was just a couple days later. So of course Cass also came over with these super cute cards she made on illustrator to place the cookies on. Her instagram is here.

These are the cards, sized 3x5 inches they are mini cookies that will be bagged and taped to the card. .

We used 3 different cookie cutters, The unicorn was actually a pineapple cookie cutter that Cass taught us how to decorate as a unicorn.

We colored the royal frosting 4 different colors and used those colors for all the cookies.

The sprinkles need to be placed on the cookie when the cookie is wet, Also a good thing to note is the cookies take about 24 hours to completely dry so don’t try to bag them before hand.

Royal Icing Recipe:

We used 2lbs of powdered sugar

5 TBS of Meringue Powder

Water , slowly added drops of water until the consistency is smooth.
